Privacy Policy.

The short version.

I run a one-person web design studio. I collect the minimum information needed to respond to your enquiry, build your site, and run the studio. I don’t sell or share your personal information. If you ever want your data removed, email me and it’s done.

What I collect.

When you fill out a contact form on this site, I collect the information you submit, typically name, email, phone (optional), business name, and a description of your project. This data is sent to me by email through Netlify Forms and stored in my email inbox.

When you visit any page on this site, my analytics tools (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity) collect anonymized usage information, pages visited, time on page, country, browser, device. This data does not personally identify you and is used only to understand which parts of the site are useful.

How I use it.

• To respond to your enquiry. Form submissions go straight to my email inbox so I can write back.
• To run the engagement. If we work together, I’ll keep your contact details and project notes for as long as we’re working together, plus any retention period required by tax or legal obligations.
• To improve the site. Anonymized analytics help me understand which pages are useful and where things break.

I do not sell, trade, or rent personal information to third parties. Ever.

Third-party services.

This site uses the following third-party services that may receive data about your visit:

• Netlify, hosts the site and processes contact form submissions.
• Google Analytics, aggregated, anonymized usage analytics.
• Microsoft Clarity, session recordings and heatmaps for usability research. Personal data is masked by default.
• Google Fonts, serves the typography used on this site.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data. By using this site, you accept those policies as well.

Cookies and tracking.

This site uses a small number of cookies, primarily for analytics and to remember your session. You can disable cookies in your browser without losing access to any of the site’s content, the site does not rely on cookies for core functionality.

Your rights.

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) and equivalent regulations, you have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal information I hold about you.
• Request correction of any inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your personal information at any time.
• Withdraw consent for ongoing communications.

Children’s privacy.

This site and the studio’s services are intended for businesses and adults. I do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy.

This policy may be updated as the studio’s practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage for at least thirty days.
